Just checking it out up close 🐑
During our visit to the farm, we take the time to examine the sheep closely. And yes... sometimes that also means: lifting them for a moment. In this photo, you can see how we lift a sheep to get a better idea of its weight, build, and general condition.
It may seem like a simple moment, but it actually says quite a lot. Up close, you see just a little more than from a distance, and that helps in making a good assessment of the quality.
No gym needed today, the sheep provide the workout 😄 But seriously: these kinds of checks are necessary to ensure that we only select healthy and strong animals.
This way, we keep the process fair, clear, and under control. And ultimately, that's what it's all about!
